Emerson’s Muzzleloader Hunt

Emerson proved to be a better shot than his old man, bagging a doe at 90 yards. He really could not have done it any better than he did. Perhaps all the trash we picked up over the prior year got us in good with the mountains.

Many thanks to grandma and grandpa for the Buck knife! I always pack several knives in, but that one proved particularly important as we were left to do the dirty work in the dark.
